Default CAIPS Notes - Mr. Andrew / experts pls. advice.

While I am waiting for my interview call at NY, I have recvd my CAIPS
Notes which state that the interview is necessary to verify original
docs. The officer tried to telphone my current company, but got the
message 'Telephone disconnected'.

The reason he might have got this message is he called the Telephone
Number from the experience letter submitted 2 years a go with my
Application. Since then my company has moved and telephone number has
been changed.

What can I do in this case ? If I obtain a fresh experience letter and
mail them, with a letter indicating new office number, will it help to
expedite my case or skip the interview ?

Pls advise.

How unfortunate. But it is unlikely that there is anything you can do to
avoid an interview now. You can try, by sending in a new letter, and hope
that the officer takes the time to re-assess your situation.

Hi,

You are unluck because you did not inform NY the number was changed. My former employer's phone number was changed before and I informed NY.

But I am confused that document checking is done after the success interview. Why NY did it earlier? I am not sure if NY did background checking before interview? In my CAIP, I found my file "To secuirity check" "referral required" and "referral sent" more than one year ago and I am also waiting for the interview.

Is it okay to refer Caips Notes when we write to immigration officer ?
I am thinking, the immigration officer may not accept the
clarification submitted on basis of Caips Notes as these were not sent
to us by the officer in first place.

Sorry to bring up this thread again but they misspelled my wife's name in CAIPS and I would like to know the answer to the original poster's question:

Thanks for your answers.
