About 29c today but can get up to 32c . My pool is concrete (the plastic ones get even hotter on the same given day)

I would forget about the points and use them to buy a new iPod or something. Book a flight with Emirates, they fly via Dubai everyday from either Glasgow or Edinburgh give you 30kgs each ticket...

Just thinking about the acreage thing and the possibility of moving to Greenbank or even further out to Jimboomba. Real Estate sites quote travel times, but I suspect these are not very accurate...

Such a good description and so true (at least for my first Brisbane summer but the last two summers seemed a little more tame). Still, well worth it for the other 9 months of perfect !

As far as I am aware you will not be entitled to any Child Care Benefits. You would have to be on a permanent visa - at least that was the situation in 2005 when we arrived on a 457 visa.....
