We didnt need proof of funds on 'landing' - we did a same day shopping trip across the border paid our US $6 (which is valid for 3 months) and then 'landed' on the way home.!

We sent our passports from Canada 18th November and they arrived back 22nd December....which wasn't bad for the time of year - I think the average is about 3 weeks door-to-door. Good Luck.

I just went to the post office and sent it registered delivery...you then have a tracking number to check its whereabouts.! I didnt bother sending it via expresspost as I was in no hurry for its...

You could try entering England as your country instead of UK when using E-cas....it is a common mistake and the immgration file number may be located then....As you can see from my signature we NEVER...

You send your passports, and passport photos to London and include a self adressed envelope only...no additional postage required. They will return your passports in the envelope you have sent them...

We posted ours off from BC Nov 19th and they were returned Dec 22nd .They came back registered post and had to be signed for - in our self adressed envelope which was quite a novelty - seeing my own...

Our passports came back from the UK yesterday nearly 5 weeks after posting them off to London and today 23rd Dec 2009 we 'landed'!
We had a quick trip down to the States for some last minute...

We had our meds done 19th Oct so less than a month for PPR to arrive. We are currently in BC anyway - been here since 2007...

Just had email notification for PPR - Still in shock - wasn't expecting to hear anything that soon especially since our DMP sent the medicals to Ottawa! Ah - well...................best get those...

We had ours done in Surrey BC, same checks as above but for only 2 children aged 10 and 7 ours worked out at $780...so similar price.
