Hello Noni - we have ben travelling a little bit - 1 month in China - back to UK for Christmas and NY then we went to Bangkok for a week - Vietnam for 3 months - back to Thailand for a month...

Get a large bowl - (like a washing up bowl) and put a large amount of salt in it and leave it in the room.
We always left one in each room and when we came back after the monsoon the bowl was full...

Goodbye Goa and we can't wait

We have rented - bought and sold for the last 15 years here in Goa and next week we are off and really can't wait to go back home to UK and Spain until mid October.

I know where noni lives and if it had sunshine all year round I would never leave the place.
Same as the Cornish Riviera (where we used to live)

Nobody would ever leave the UK if the sunshine was...

How can we respect the host country when Indian people do not respect their homeland - they treat it like a dustbin.

Like chrisjolly we are going back to Spain but for us it is not a job
(do you work there chris?) but somewhere where we can continue our sunshine lifestyle and not have to worry about the rain etc....

My problem in Goa is that I go for Pilates and Aqua classes when I am at home in Spain and have to walk 2 kms to get there 4 times each week and back,
