Oooh, fair point....but my circumstances are a bit weird. Anyway, I have total parental responsibilty (he forfeited that at the divorce) so he has no say whatsoever in the children.

Seriously considering moving there once the rental is up here...I am on a downer with Denia at the moment! I liked what I saw...but I may see a lot more before buying eventually I spose:confused:

Hi Debi...

Absolutely nothing was required of the childrens father, not even to renew their passports prior to leaving the UK. As long as you have the paper trail i mentioned, then that satisfied...

We were told today that we need the childrens NIE and proof of residency before approaching any schools.

Hi...yep, children have to have NIE as well

Went to the Town hall as lynnexa suggested. They have an English Speaking International Desk...he was able to tell me that to register we needed...

Hi everyone...

I have been in Spain (Denia) for 4 weeks, with my two children aged 8 and 9. So far I have an NIE number, but do not have a school sorted for them to start in September...can anyone...
