Anyone in / near Benidorm

(I so don't want to sound like a whinger!).... I personally find Denia too built up and overcrowded for me...although everyone I have met has been so friendly (except the woman at the town hall, but thats a different story)
I speak as a London born lass who spent 10 years in the splendid isolation of the Isle of Mull (Scotland)... its just me, having a problem with built up areas and too many people.
I liked the more open feel of Olivo...but as I say, I have ten months to explore the region and find somewhere permanent

Hi Mitzy,
Is the weather really grotty, only I have a friend who is over in daimuz on holiday , arrived Sun evening, he said they had the storm that it was cloudy Tuesday and they have been on beach today. You are very close to Daimuz aren't you? Does it change much between towns?
Luv Eve

Denia is OK until the tourist season and then it's wall to wall Germans, it takes 597 hours to drive from one end of the town to the other. I will now be avoiding Denia until October-ish unless I have no choice but go there
