I read on CPAA website that I don't need to bother with all the course syallabi and all if i'm a member of AICPA (US CPA). But they don't mention if I have to be a full member or just an assoicate...

Just by looking at the requirements, I have my reservations on the quota be filled right away. What's your basis for assuming 20K quota will get filled up right away?

Well 20K is the quota. So you're basically saying that in 08 there are going to be 20K SWs who will meet the CEC criteria? I doubt that.

How will the processing times dramatically increase when a lot of people won't even qualify for CEC due to its stiff requirements? Atleast not in the forseeable future, maybe I think after 2-3 years...

Thanks JAJ. My work experience apart from an accountant is of an IT Auditor and I believes that's included in the SOL list as2231-12.
