Would this medical condition create an issue?
I have an undescended testicle that my doc has advised me to remove. Apparently it's a minor surgery. Would such a condition bar me from immigrating to canada?

No. You should sue your GP though for not noticing while you were a child.

No I wouldn't have thought so, it's a minor enough operation and carries no long term medical care issues. That's what they're interested in, anything infectious or long term costly. I echo the sentiment that this should have been spotted when you were a child, I had one but it was corrected when I was about 4 or 5.

no,you can choose not to remove it.
the reason for such proposal is that there is a possibility for being malignant in future but the possibility is really low.
if i were you,i would forget to do that.
i`m not a medical practioner please ask some of them before

Hi crunch343,
I'm a physician & I don't think that this medical condition would neither impose any infectious risk nor exhauste the canadian health care system resources. But I you can expect the CHC might require some further investigation.
As mentioned, it is a minor operation & I advice that you assess the decision of getting it removed, for fear of any maliganant transformation, with a good surgeon.
This is my porsonal view, I don't have any idea of how the CHC are assessing medical problems but it is not likely that a medical practitioner will overdo stuf by suggesting that a common cold might be bird flu, albeit both have similar signs & symptoms.
