Hi We got our visa granted monday sent passports special delivery tuesday with a prepaid special delivery envelope inside and got visas back with sticker on friday. A very quick process.

We have received our visa (monday) using the skilled family sponsor route and we have no restrictions at all we have a perm visa and can live or work anywhere. Hope this info helps

Thanks i know about the gcse's but he would like to do them just in case and thats fine, at the end of the day he has more to benifit from in life in the long term and we are not too bothered...

Don't worry keep waiting i know it is a pain but it will come through and 17mths means hopefully sooner rather than later, as i say i sent a email and reply was the file is with the decision...

Going to validate for 3wks in November but not going completly for two years as our son wishes to finish gcse's here and then finish the last two years of high school in oz and then do his degree...

Hi Not sure if this helps or is the same thing but after i had forwarded everything at the end of june i got a email saying everything had been passed onto the decision maker and to await a decision...

Just got our visa granted letter this morning and going to send all off special delivery tomorrow and then are booking flights for oct/nov for a validation trip
yes at last the wait is over
