Hi, just wondering why everyone seems to be applying to QAS if conditions are so poor? NSW are recruiting and would appreciate any advise of them - anyone already employed by NSW ambulance service?

Thanks for that - apparently my hubby said they had a mag at work saying that SAAS are now recruiting UK paramedics but doesn't say that on their website so will keep our eyes peeled. Thanks

Not 100% sure we are now! Looked into it with rose tinted glasses but the more you delve you realise aus has a lot of the problems that the UK has, if not more. From reading aus news channels there...

I know hun I felt the same over xmas - hubby working and i was off with my 2 year old daughter but I made the most of it and went out puddle hunting - it was great fun but I know where you're coming...

Oh yes and be assured Jacqui the St Johns Paramedics in Oz are highly qualified - most more so than ones in the UK so you are SAFE!!
