Hi I have a visa until 2012 do I have to apply again once it runs out and start over? Or can it be just renewed? I had planned on staying in Oz but for now we are in the UK. If I want to return...

Hubby has booked our flights back for 14th March. :(

Still don't want to go back but if I dont it will mean the children will suffer and I can't have that weight on my shoulders.:(

We have come over on a skilled independent 136 visa which is a Permanent Residency visa. However for some things there is a 2 year qualifying period until they actually accept you as a permanent...

We came with no savings and had no house to sell. Would need a 100% mortgage and the banks wont lend it unless you have permanent residency. Which is after 2 years of being in Australia.
