IMO been to Singapore and would recommend with small kids, very safe. KL is great, but not sure I would take small kids there. Langkawi is Paradise, truly beautiful but you need to fly from KL or...

Think its 15 as we have UK passports, finding the DIAC but hard to navigate, cannot actually find the application form for 175, just to read it!:confused:

Good question and one i have been pondering myself, whether to DIY or get a migration agent, as it is a lot of money ( I am assuming their costs don't include your visa?).

Thanks, I think we need to find an agent and get the ball rolling! I have read a lot on here and have an idea who to use.
18m does seem a long time but thats my youngest's age so really, not long at...

A job offer carries extra points doesn't it? would it speed things up?
I just worry that if he had a job offer and we hadnt got our visa application in, they would withdraw the job offer?

I have to say a big thanks for this post as it is an issue that had concerned me, I too have small children and worry about them playing outside. Also how easy is it to walk, parks, countryside etc?

Have flown Malaysia a number of times, all flights faultless, very helpful crew and ground staff. KL is a dream, well it was 7 years ago and very friendly, but so is Singapore and both airports...

Should probably add that this is close to home, so to speak as feeding a 4 month old at the moment and invariably am out with her and her 2 brothers when she needs feeding!
