Our local Jewel (West Loop) has a small English foods section, including Ribena. I don't think they all have that section, but can't be just the one, either!

I have used them in the past. They usually have the sky sports coverage. Quality was pretty decent and only $15 a month I think.

I think he definitely (and cleverly) "played up" his Englishness to appeal to the Americans. His stall at the Farmers' Market had a huge Union Jack as the siding!

Proper Sausage in Chicago!

Just wanted to let anyone in the Chicago area know that I found proper sausages today! They were on offer at the Lincoln Park farmers' market, but are for sale at a few grocery stores/other farmers'...

I was just wondering what the general consensus was on when the best time is to book flights back to the UK for Christmas.

We are off to Grant park to the Obama rally (hopefully anyway, still waiting for the tickets but we got an email saying we would get them). Should be a good night, either that or a riot!

It sounds like Natwest are being incompetent to me.

All you need is your account number, routing number (also called ABA number) and the full address of your bank. The SWIFT code will also help...

My wife and I filed jointly and get the full $1200 despite the fact I didn't pay a cent of tax last year.
