Thumbs up Eddie Izzard on the Stage

Yippee!

My friend just phoned me and said she's just bought some tickets for us to see Eddie Izzard at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night!

I had no idea he was on tour in the USA (albeit a short tour, the next stops are Dallas, Oakland and LA).

Is anyone else going?

Hobbes went and saw him when he was in Boston...we wanted to go, but weren't able to get to it, which was a bugger as the missus would have been able to have gotten really good tickets at discount.

The wife and I went to see him in Chicago. Thought he was really good, maybe not quite 'Jeff Vader' or 'cake or death' good but good nonetheless.

I saw the Sexie tour in Birmingham. It was good. There was no Mrs Badcrumble or the 'cake or death' stuff. He is so random! I would love to see him again but not sure he would do a show in Indiana. Closest I would probably get is if he went to Chicago I guess.

I'll have to skip this tour, which sucks. I have seen him 3 times, though. He's great, and you'll love it!

Not exactly sure where I am as a friend bought the tix....think it's section 89 row A or B?

I guess lots of Brit expats will be there (my friends who I'm going with are Aussies though....they are really into the Flight of the Conchords, I'm still on the fence with them but will watch them on the IFE when flying...)

I saw Flight of the Conchords when they were just starting out at the Edinburgh Fringe. They were fantastic, but I've never liked anything they have done on the TV.

I think lots of comedians come across different live, but in my experience if you like what you have seen on the TV you will love them live.

We're up in the 300's - if I'm lucky I might be able to throw things at you from up there.
