I am currently taking legal action against Bishops Move for the damage and destruction they caused when shipping my belongings from the UK to Melbourne. I would appreciate it if you could let me...

Re: which shipping company?

Wouldn't recommend Bishops Move as our stuff was trashed and the insurance cocked up. I take some satisfaction from losing them business.

I am left with having to try and take legal action:curse:

Re: Update on the 'Shippers from Hell'

Yep Bishops Move, Newcastle branch - I have seen other complaints with this company so it doesn't appear to be branch related. I can send you the email address for the ombudsman if you need it.

Re: Update on the 'Shippers from Hell'

The packing they used appears to have a plastic exterior, everything was dry when it went in but some items appear to have damp/wet patches. It was also a shared container so I don't know what has...

Re: Dirty Shipping Containers

No-one mentioned anything about insurance for the container when we got quotes, we assumed that any additional costs for customs would just relate to issues with our goods - not the container. Hence...

Re: Warning - Bad Shipping Experience
