It depends on where you come from as to wether you think housing is more spaced out here. I lived in portsmouth for 8 years where the housing is mostly like Coronation St so compared to that even...

I'm not sure if thats true...is it? Where I lived (Portsmouth) just before I left 5 years ago there was talk of a centre being built for migrants (or do I mean immigrants?)but I dont know if it went...

That's probably the case in a very small amount of single parent families, I wouldn't say that's the norm. There are probably as many fathers that ***** off and leave their kids to the mum to bring...

I only have a 5 minute drive to work but something happens almost every day. I make allowances, I always leave a big enough gap between me and the next car incase...

Just north of Auckland for me. Yeah there's loads of poms here, small sections, dont get much shed for your money etc but I can move about at the drop of a hat and wouldn't still be here 5 years on...

Hi Sarah. I would second what jacky has said about the railway, it is great! Lola loved it.
We stayed in Kennedy Bay last time but it was half and hour drive over the hills on a twisty gravel road...

I just didn't like it. Yes, the peak district was beautiful and I went there loads. I dont want to be rude about it as I was only there a year and I appreciate that plenty of people love it.

I liked living in the UK most of the time, with the exception of a year near Sheffield which is where the idea of NZ came up as it is as far away from Sheffield and the horrible town we were living...

I have a few friends who commute from the Shore. One uses the bus and the other drives. The one who drives starts work at about 7.30 so she misses the traffic and the one who gets the bus gets there...

Oh Sarah you will love it I'm sure! We went between christmas and NY and it was fantastic. Its the 5th time we have been and I could go every weekend :)

Had one holiday to Gold Coast, Surfers paradise to be precise...never again!! Lots of other places I would love to see over there though and I look forward to that.

Been back to UK and Germany...

D'ya mean the one with the burnt kids? My sister was shocking when she was here with her 10 month old pale, blonde daughter. I had to keep nagging her until she got the message.
