Nope. One I got in 2005 had to prove employment etc. One I got in 2006 had no such conditions.

It physically CANT do this if you've disconnected both the battery and the power lead simultaneously. I suspect your power button is putting it into sleep mode instead of switching it off.

Actually, there's set noise levels (same as cars) depending on age of vehicle, number of cyls, valves etc and the WOF tester uses a noise tester at 0.5m from the bike. Obviously if you know the WOF...

The GST exemption thing only applies if you have owned the bike for at least one year...

If your kid's at all academically bright then there's no way I would bring him out to NZ at 14. The education system is a shocker here.
