I don't know why people are fussing over this law and banking sick time or having it paid out, neither is required, its simple employees get 5 days paid to use when sick, there wont be anyone banking...

The BC paid sick leave doesn't apply to all workers in BC, only those covered by the Employment Standards Act (ESA).

The entire emergency system is too fragmented and patchwork to be effective, people were not warned, city's not warned, etc etc.

That is where I had the upperhand as a kid, we didn't have a computer, I really didn't watch TV, had no friends, didn't play sports, there was almost nothing they could take away that I cared about....
