NTL have to be the worst company i have been unfortunate enough to deal with, dumped them 12 months ago and they still tried to charge us for 8 months of service that we did not have!

realistically we want to put the house on the market in the summer here in the uk as that seems the best time to sell.

Problem is we are not sure how long it will take for a spouse visa approval....

What visa are you applying for? I believe the spouse visa can be frontloaded with the medicals and police checks etc?
