Now I think about it, it looks disturbingly similar to the home that that British guy Whittaker is alleged to have murdered his family in, over in the states :scared:

Who said anything about it being on a small block?

What is considered a large block I have no idea?

Shell cove - sounds nice. But it's a newish development covering hundreds of acres, no trees just roof after roof after roof. People have to live somewhere......

Yea I know mate - see my reply #14. It was why I suggested Kiama Downs - similar deal (large-ish estate development) but a lot nicer than Shell Cove, including very close proximity to both riverfront, coast, the Princes Highway and indeed, Kiama itself

Hi

Nice house. My sister has built one about that size with just a few differences in QLD but it cost her more cause they had to have extra bits included for her hubby. Havent seen it yet just pics but mum and dad says its very nice.

A good traditional block is at least quarter of an acre. 1000sqm. Non existent now practically. 750sq m would be lucky.
500-600 more the norm.

Well they are looking for $4.5 million, but if I was you, I wouldn't offer them a cent above $4.2 million.

Does the price include the land? It's great if it does, not that I would buy something like that. We have something similar, two story 4 bed, sep living/dining plus a fully finished basement etc. and we are going to buy a little bungalow in a suburb around perth, because a big house means big bills, more time to clean it, more rooms to mess up, I'm tired of it, I want a little place so I can actually enjoy my life and my husband will be home more often cause he won't have to work soooooooo many hours to pay the big bills for the big house. Just my experience, the house is beautiful though, and if I had a couple of million and a maid, I might consider it!

absolutely right.

life is for living, not worrying about big ticket status symbols and the bills that come with it.

Plenty of wee houses in Perth.
