Have you seen that Brittany Ferries are planning a new route to Porto in Portugal. I think this might be a couple of hours shorter than Santander and new places to see.

We did hope to set off at the end of the month. We usually drive from the tunnel but I am looking at the boat to Spain too since we no longer have a dog to consider. I hope the vaccine passport does...

Can I ask here about the required Covid tests. Will you need the PCR one 72 hours before entering France and will that same one allow entry to Spain?

No problem at all. You will need fulltiming insurance. Prepare for £800 for that. Take the Motorhome back to UK for MOT road fund etc. There is no problem at all and you are not illegal in any way...
