We go to Ferrer on the industrial estate. They also have the smaller electrical goods shop in town. They are most helpful. Moreover if you have any problems in or out of guarantee they are fantastic with after sales service. They remove the old and install the new. They belong to a buying group and the prices are competitive.

We bought our last dishwasher from the little electrical store opposite the Post Office. We went in in the morning, chose the one we wanted & they delivered it, connected it & took the other away when they closed the shop at 2pm. Have had other items from them & the service is always good. They also sell lots of spare parts, regards Bryony.

Can endorse both recommendations. Had to renew our dishwasher last July and Ferrer on the Poligono were very good, good discount on the Bosch models manufactured in Spain. Post office shop great for all the spares we have needed but the only place we could get the right sizi of element for our immersion on the solar system.

Thanks, I was thinking the same places but wondering about the best brands to buy for mid range, reliable, not 100 different programmes etc

Ours is a Beko, only 4 programmes. No problems so far after 5 years & didn't cost an arm & a leg. Bryony

But I need wine.. beer to drive the engine š
But I can also supply hugs as well š
Seriously Iāāāāāā believe that with modern technology and ecological awareness ..and new cleaning products .... ANY modern machine will do a good job. I read a Which report that said that most people (myself included) only use a couple of programs on their gadgets like dishwashers, washing machines, microwaves etc etc
Especially with the multiple page manuals you have to go through to suss out how it all works. And if you use a particular programme rarely, its easy to forget how to set it up.
So when we replace white goods we go for the 'basic' models, as opposed to the 'big names' we did before. And servicing the 'big name' costs TONS! And of course the entry cost is less.

Similar experience with this shop. Bought a Balay dishwasher from them which has worked perfectly since 2009, when the "appliance of science" Zanussi machine died after 2 years. We bought a new cooker and hob from them a few years ago - delivery, installation, old kit and packaging all removed - brilliant !!
