Seems you are right.....was in touch with our settlement agent and also our mortgage advisor and was told the same..........only way they said was if your mortgage providor had refused the finance...

Initially we were only given 20 kgs but when we phoned, as long as we sent copies of our PR Visa, we were given 40 kgs. Did get a bit of hassle at first but if you are insistant you should get it. ...

We are flying with Emirates on 22nd September. :scared: ....think it depends on what visa you have....we have PR and we got 40 kgs but had to ask for it. We booked online.
