we had our medicals about a month ago , and we still havnt told our parents , both sets of parents come to our house maybe twice a year , so they dont see their grandchildren anyway, and we only live...

we have applied for a sir visa for sa , and we took our medicals in early jan , how long after medicals is it before you get your visa , is it weeks or months :eek:

is it expensive to buy , washers fridges tvs etc out in aus , or is it better to take yours with you , and if they are new , do you have to pay import duties... cheers, i only ask as my tv and washer...

i presume as in this country there are plenty of cordless power tools for the building trade , but what voltage electrical tools do they use on building sites etc, is it the same as us 110v or are...

how does this work when you move to austalia , do you have to tell the dhss and they stop it , or do less honest people stay quiet and leave open their english bank account
