As previously stated if you don´t get Private Health Care under the age of 65 you are NOT entitled to any care on Spanish NHS apart from emergency cover unless you are paying into the Spanish system....

You don´t say where abouts you will be living, but in the Malaga area Bazaar San Juan are excellent value for electrical goods.

Online shopping is still in its infancy here - some supermarkets...

Just paying tax/being resident here doesn´t entitle you to free health care pre.retirement age. You have to contribute to the Spanish Social Security system also.

Owned property in Mallorca for 10 years - holiday homes. When we decided to make a permanent move to Spain we knew we wanted more than island life that we felt would be too insular on longterm...

We use the Andaluz company Prevision Medica - top of the range policy (includes ICU + Chemotherapy etc.) for BOTh of us 1200 Euros per year.

The lakeside restaurants are some 5 minutes drive from us. We really love this area, as do most of the people who stay at our B+B - many of whom now own properties in the area. I´m no oracle, but...

We live som 15km inland from the Costa del Sol and find prices here much lower than in areas on the coast. We atill reckon that, as long as you buy Spanish not imported products, prices are still...
