Re: Living on Jersey Shore and commuting to Lower Manhattan

If he works on Wall Street, look into the Seastreak ferry from Atlantic Highlands. It's super-pricey, but a friend did it for a couple of years and loved it.

Re: No idea where to start - moving from UK to coastal California

Unfortunately driving is a part of life in LA - and hard to avoid. I would recommend de-prioritizing the cycling to work thing. Find a community where the schools are good, the neighbors don't all...

Re: Best supermarkets like home in and around Thousand Oaks, CA

Oh - are they still open? I'd heard Fresh and Easy had closed down. Which is a shame - I was a fan!

Re: Self Employment Questions (with CR1 Visa)

It's actually super-easy. If you are working as a freelancer, you don't need to do anything special. You can be a sole proprietor just using your personal Social Security Number.

You will need to...

There's a British food shop in Tarzana - not too far away:
www.facebook.com/Oh-Fancy-That

Trader Joes carries Dubliner cheddar and Kerrygold butter and is about the cheapest of the grocery...

Re: Where to even start...

One thing to bear in mind is that if you are really unhappy in England, you will most likely find plenty of reasons to be unhappy in California. Despite the sunny outward appearance, it's not the...

Re: EB-1 = How Long?

Are you doing concurrent I-140 and I-485?

The website Trackitt.com can give you an idea of current processing times.

FWIW I was personally advised against premium processing as it may not...

Oh - just spotted this.

Find a USC friend, form a partnership and incorporate your own production company in CA and have that entity sponsor your O1.

Re: Question about UK 01 Visa Application for the USA...

I would suggest getting quotes from at least two other, similar, agents before you confirmation bias yourself into a tricky situation. There is a steady flow of entertainment-based O1s heading to LA,...

Re: Have I considered every option? L-2, E-1, O-1 etc

Re: Have I considered every option? L-2, E-1, O-1 etc

Re: Upcoming O1 & O3 visa interview

I would not get into a conversation about him looking for work. On an O3 he cannot work.

It's been said a million times before - just answer the...
