Re: Ontario News

Are you serious that Britain is more united after the London bombings? I know I am a long way away in New Zealand but from press reports I'd say the opposite is true. Are you sure it is not just...

Re: Something a little wrong here, surely?

If the latest press reports from the UK are correct it appears that the Labour MP for Barking is very concerned about the BNP doing rather well in the upcoming local elections.

Re: Something a little wrong here, surely?

I'd have thought that either the flag of the Confederacy or the Nazi swastika, both official flags in their time were used much more than the Cross of St George by far-right groups.

Re: worst thing we have ever done!

I am a bit surprised no one has mentioned the fact that Chinese seem to get away with (or get ridiculously short sentences for) a wide variety of crimes here in NZ.

Cases that come to mind...

Re: Islam and future problems

No surprise there at all.

Also during October the Muslims were busy rattling the collection tins for the Kashmir earthquake. It really wouldn't do to be collecting for charity while dressed as a...

Re: Islam and future problems

I don't recall blowing up commuters to be BNP policy. The Muslim demonstations yesterday had placards saying "Europe. Your 9/11 will come." and similar messages.

I rest my case.

Re: Islam and future problems

Good post.

The difference between the BNP and Muslims is that the BNP don't advocate the blowing up of commuters, just the removal from the UK of people who wish to blow up commuters. Quite a big...

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

Nice to see you sidestep any of my points and just get stright down to insults. New Labour would be proud of you. Given Tony's performance over the last 8 years I think a lot of British people,...

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

Did you ever sell the Socialist Worker on street corners when you were younger? These shrill comments about what we should and shouldn't be allowed to read are the ones which should be deleted.

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

I'd say that Canada has a much better economic future than the UK being as it is a major energy/food/minerals producer. I am not sure about the society as I have only been to Canada on holiday.

Re: Trouble in paradise!!??

You're wrong.

Even living in NZ I know about the background to these problems. Read all the links from the story you posted and you will see that it goes back many years.

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

I am happy with my figures as I was responding to someone who said that I would have been safer staying in London since 2001 rather than flying to NZ. I feel that I have proved that I am in fact...

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

I hope not.

I have not heard of there being riots over here. The Maori do sometimes get angry but they usually march in protest. They usually do their 'haka' and then have a BBQ. Certainly not the...

Re: Why come back to Britain?????

The point is that the 970 million journeys are not made by 970 million different people. I'd say that about 2 million different people made those 970 million journeys. In other words a typical...

Got to agree with the original poster on this one. Immigration to the UK is out of control. The immigrants already there are bad enough but it seems that all you need to do to immigrate to the UK is...
