vodafone no signal

my husband is with vodafone (mobile). PAYG. Lately he has had no signal, just emergency calls only. He wants to change to a different network, but keep his old number..is this possible?

I had the same problem, they didnt collect it, then I got a bill over a year later for nearly 600 euros!!!! I refused to pay and eventually they quoshed it!

i would struggle more on 800 a month in UK, given the fact i would get housing benefit and any other benefit i was entitled to. I wouldnt have the sunshine, or the more relaxed life that i lead now...

We are pensioners, and nobody said it was easy!!! We would find it much harder to live on 200 a week back in UK, and no doubt we would be getting more with housing benefits etc. but we would struggle...
