We have just 'landed' in Ontario and swapped our licence. the lady took my UK licence and gave me an Ontario licence for $75. She kept hold of the photo ID part and gave me back my paper counterpart....

I'm landing in Toronto and I am thinking of swapping my UK licence. I will then be heading to BC a few months later to live. Will I have to do the test or will they swap my Ontario licence?

We had our medicals and the staff said that if we called back in a week or so they would give us the results over the phone...which they did!!!!...all clear and they said they had been sent to CIC...

Hi,

We have just recieved our visas from CIC London. We are planning on moving to Vancouver shortly but we were thinking about officially landing in Ontario and getting our paperwork sorted out...

I know its very frustrating.....we just put the house up with another agency to see if 2 will be better. the wife is supposed to start her job in vancouver in December :confused: Hopefully things...

can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the other costs that are payable monthly on top of mortgage payments?
Such as Utilities, taxes etc

No its LMO..3 year contract for mrs robbo. the employer isn't aware that our PR application is whizzing through the system. I must admit it is common sense to progress the PR because they can get one...
