We fly on 24th July for 4 days in Singapore and then on to Brisbane (if all goes well........ son rushed into A&E today, stopped breathing at doctors, blues and two's to A&E!!) :eek:

No, PR 136,it say's so on the visa, valid for 5 years - you have the option to apply for citizenship if you want ie 2 years in Oz (at the mo, soon to be 3) within the 5 years - after that you have to...

Does this mean that until you become an Australian citizen you are exempt tax (PR visa is only for 5 years so must be counted as temporary?) Also, dont you need to be a "citizen" to get...
