well, in my own unprofessional opinion you can set up a business account and have them pay you on a 1099 instead of a w2 this way it is not categorised as "work" but merely as running a business...

i once went on business trip to the us i was planning on buying the ticket int eh us bfor i left so didnt bother ordering a us return ... befor i boarded my flight to us the airline people asked...

Dont bring her here on a tourist visa
bring her here on family sponsored visa, easy!!
nearly the same visa as a fiance visa. its the fourth preference but it should work file an I-130 first.
