Default Australian test for Brits

In view of the fact that Britain is going to introduce a Britishness test for immigrants I was wondering what the Ausssies should include in an Australian test for us poms wanting to emigrate.
Any ideas?

Ask Brits wanting to emigrate to play a game of cricket. If they win, give them the visas.

Would you support the Australian Cricket team? I would fail the Tebbit test.

Ask them to learn the sporting anthem -

Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie. . . Oi, Oi, Oi

If the poms fail, out on their luggs!

Didn't the Welsh used to chant something similar (back in the Max Boyce days)?

Now I will have to ask my old Dad that one, he is the classic born in Wales, lived there until he was 5 then next 53 years in England.

He seems to come out of the woodwork with poor quality songs, usually when the Taff's are knocking the hell out of England at rugby

Forget all the silly forms....Anybody who wants to come here
should choose an AFL football team to support. After a year if they can prove that they went to at least 6 games they can stay......otherwise they are out.

Random checks will be conducted after that to make sure they know the rules of the game. Anybody failing that test has to go live in Adelaide.

Not just "used to", we still very much do at rugby union matches today as any Welsh person can tell you too.

I also noticed that Aussie Aussie Aussie" became more popular here in Australia after the Aussies got back from the Welsh WC, not that they will admit to that. But you certainly did not hear this chant at every sporting event before then, like you hear now all of the time.

Read the letters from the " England barmy army" lol ( letter number 21). Actually that letter from a Jane Astey is wrong , when she says North Wales, old Max is from the South

( I also disagree where they think the Welsh chant it comes from ( cornwall as suggested in the above link, regarding their pasties) . There is a place called Ogmore in S.Wales, the Ogmore vale,Ogmore river . Not that far from where Max ,who did coin the original "oggi" phrase comes from.

...................

Isn't the British test more to do with you must be able to read one of the official languages of the UK, and not really a "test test" as tests go?

Australia already has this for many of the visas, Ie you must be able to read English. which is odd why that German here got locked up, of course she could speak English, she must be a loon.
