We went to Perth in Jan 2005 and from what we remember and have researched since, Woodvale and some adjacent suburbs come out best for us.

Looks like we could be neighbours soon!

As far as I am aware when you register the vehicle for a change of ownership you will be liable to pay stamp duty. This is certainly the case in WA and I believe for other states too. Rates vary...

If you go to travel info and type in from and to it gives Brisbane to Robina as 82.73 Km and 1.13 hours, so I guess...

It does not matter how old your friend's husband is as he will be the dependant spouse which is not age tested, only the main applicant is, so she has until SHE is 45.

Yes, we are. Visas now in passports and we are aiming to fly to Perth on the 20th May.

We are intending to fly east after about a week where we will buy our car and drive back...

Think of a room 3m by 5m (or 10' by 16') and pack the floor to a depth of 1.0m (3' 3''). That is 15 cu-m.
