What the best way of transferring an inheritance from the UK to Australia?

As a trial I transferred a bit of money from my lloyds TSB account to my Bendigo bank and was not happy...

I've now paid 14 years national insurance stamp for my self and 5 years for my wife. Mine was a mixture of part 2 and 3 contributions, the wifes was all class 2 which all up cost us about £4000 .....

From What I remember an HND in Mechanical Engineering is equivalent to an advanced certificate in Engineering here in Oz. HNC would be a certificate in Engineering. What degree are you looking at...

There are no formal tickets that you need to work as a boilermaker. It's down to your CV.

I came over here in 2003 as a fabricator and I don't think I was ever asked for my Trades recognition...

About 70% of the employment agency staff I talk to are Poms. Not sure how easy it is to get sponsored though with the work drying up.

This is the part that turns my stomach. It's all very well saying everything is fine between 2 consenting adults behind closed doors but this is not a consulting adult and shouldn't be dragged into...

You know I've always been curious about the Gays. Often wondered what it would be like. On all the movies they seem to have a great time. They have they're own pink bars and wear a lot of leather....

Gary I don't think those were what "normal" people in the past did but I may be wrong. But this is definitely not normal practice now.

They're framing the "debate" as one of equality, they just want to be like "normal" people. But it is they who don't want to be normal and in fact celebrate the fact that they are not normal.
