I am not a lazy person and i am proud to be a Canadian and Uk citizen. I did not renew my Uk passport because until recently i could enter and leave the Uk on my Canadian passport without any problem...

$100 is more than many OAPs have to spend on groceries for a week. To renew a UK passport costs 115 quid ($215 CAD at todays exchange rate) plus a courier charge.

Yes me too. I think that after the cock up by DWP in 2022 whey they "forgot" to send out the life certificates and hundreds had their pensions stopped that the DWP now sends out texts to confirm...

HMRC overseas pensions dept don't routinely send out year end statement of pension amount paid, you have to request one, but the problem is UK tax year is April to April so statement does not arrive...

I applied for and started receiving my UK state pension in 2017, the process of my application by HMRC DWP overseas pensions dept was quick and efficient after, i applied i never had to contact them...
