Have you seen 'Happy Valley' on BBC (on iplayer, we don't use Britbox)? A bit gory but good, by the same writer is 'After the Flood' although that's not as good.
On CBC Gem we are enjoying the 2nd season of D.I. Ray.
For something less intense we stream on demand 'Ice Pilots' on Global, 'Cranford' and 'From Lark Rise to Candleford' on Tubi.

We've been watching (on these various platforms: AppleTV+, Disney Plus, Amazon, Netflix, Acorn, Crave, and Britbox)
Slow Horses
Vera
Shetland
Shogun
What We Do In The Shadows
Dune: Prophecy
SAS: Rogue Hero's
The Chelsea Detective
Bob's Burgers
Those About To Die
Plus probably a lot of other things I cannot recall

Watched Happy valley very good , Watched the first episode of After the Flood, didn't turn my crank, I watched Deceit (BB) very good but a bit disturbing, At the moment watching DI ray (gem) slow burner but growing on me, Shetland Se9 not the same without Jimmy Perez bit like Cagney and Lacy on valium, also just started watching Ridley (itvx) very moody, this week end i will watch the final two episodes of Vera (BB). As you have probably guessed i like Police procedural dramas ( cops and robbers in my day) Good new progs are getting harder and harder to find. Anyone know where to find Between the lines, from the 90,s. Just remembered i watched the second series of Sherwood another good series anything with David Morrisey in it gets my vote. Soon i will be reduced to watching re runs of Frost, Morse, Lewis, Crime and Punishment, Banks etc. I haven't resorted to Dixon of Dock Green yet!!! Evenin All

Welcome to Wrexham on Disney+ is really good, about Ryan Reynolds' and Rob McElhenney's purchase of Wrexham football club in Wales. Dives deep into the football club (and how it really is a club in the traditional sense, with deep roots in the community) as well as the challenge of making them move up in the leagues. Really makes you appreciate the community spirit of these towns and their love of football and support for the team.

I don't have Disney+ unfortunately but am sure Wrexham will be available on other platforms soon. Anyone needing their Cricket fix in these winter months, the woman's ashes series starts today down under (Sydney) starting at 3.30 pm PST and the whole series is live on 7now. Just set VPN to OZ create account and bobs yer uncle. And its free
