Yes we had to pay - $50 or £30 each (they take CAD and GBP). It is open Monday to Friday 8 - 11am.

When I emailed the CIC last week to check I was doing the right thing they sent me this email......

OMG, but thanks for the advice. They should open it in the afternoon instead, not exactly very good for those non-Londeners!
