Believe it or not it seems an AHC is different than an EHC. An AHC is for just Europe whereas an EHC is for the rest of the world. The difference is an AHC has to be carried out at least 21 days...

Opening a bank account

Whats required for a bulk standard, basic bank account in Canada. No thrills, no overdraft. I just want to be able to function in a banking sense, with a Debit Card.

For me, as I see it though, I would have no intent to leave by a particular date.

I undoubtedly would leave, to go on holiday, re-visit the UK etc, but there would be no cut-off point...
