Not prepared to go back long term as we have 4 young children and 2 businesses. Even if I were to go back with our newborn my hubby would have to cut down working hours because of our other children...

We have a couple of relief educators we can use, minimum hours set by both is 4 hours but yes I have them for full days sometimes. The way it works is yes they are paid as a contractor as I am...

I'm a family day carer on the Gold Coast and I have used relief carers on and off for small amounts of time aswell as when I had 7 weeks off to have a baby...the scheme should really be helping you...

Our Five Year Update

So Steve and I have now been here over 5 years. Our daughter that emigrated with us is now 9 and has a brother 3 and a sister nearly 1.
Everything started OK, got our heads into jobs and daughter...

As a childcare worker/Family Day carer, there is no parent with 24 hours allowed, it is 20 hours or 50 hours.



100% for Family day care is is as follows....school age = $3.9325, under school...

A friend of ours is applying for a student visa. So far he has applied to college and paid the enrolment fee.

This morning he received a notice of offer of placement which he accepted....
