Heart Attack
Hi, I have done a quick search but struggling to find anything recent.
Does anyone know how significant a heart attack is when it comes to emigrating to Australia?
My younger brother is finishing off his 2nd uni degree with the thought of applying to emigrate as an occupational therapist once he's finished. Not a problem, all looks good, or so we thought...he had a nstemi heart attack this week. It is not chronic, just acute, thought to be brought on by stress (another brother and dad passing away in a short period of time along with some other probable contributing factors).
Has this just dashed his chances of being able to emigrate? Anyone know? He is only 34 years old, hospital have ruled out heart disease. He has had a stent and balloon fitted.

Where there is a potential medical issue it is worth speaking to a specialist agent such as George Lombard.
