I think it would depend on your job title and occupation in the Visa/RP.
In my case, I did not get my degree attested.
Best to check with your employer and if possible the PRO.

Hi Umer,

It varies based off of what kind an Engineer, For grade 16 Base of 30K QAR Monthly would be the average.

Also would like to understand if I should go for 3 years renewable or 5 years...

I would definitely disagree, jobs are quite secure.
Most expats I have been working with have been here for 10+ years
Positions only go out to expatriates if locals are unable to fill the position

When I had my medical examination in Qatar, the examinations were not that thorough. I think you should be fine.

Once you accept the offer, you would be asked to get a medical checkup and background checks. Background checks can take time depending on how responsive your previous employer and university are...

My visa took just a week to be processed. Usually after the medical reports they run educational and previous employment checks, have they been completed.

You should expect the basic pay in the same range, allowances could include housing allowances (varies for bachelors/family status), transportation allowances (depending on where you are working),...

As I was hired through an agent and not directly, I did not have access to the FAQ during onboarding.

Other users might be able to share whether they got access to such a document or not.

My Case is quite similar to yours in some ways, With QP I have a permanent role whereas with Adnoc I had a temporary role which is six months renewable.

ADNOC Offshore had no presence in Ruwais...

Due to Covid the Security Clearances are taking much longer.

My First clearance was applied in Oct 2020 and got it in Feb 2021, As I am working through an Agency I have to get it done again.

I thought maybe you didn't like Qatar compared to Abu Dhabi, How is Doha compared to Abu Dhabi though, cause I have never

I see from the other Post that you are moving to Abu Dhabi from Qatar (Any reason why you are leaving your position with QP and moving to ADNOC)
