Sorry about the confusion! That was the case for Ontario, where the Registrar General's office is in charge of this process. It does seem that in NS you need to apply to Vital Statistics.

From my personal experience: I used the form as suggested by the IRCC "find an application package" tool, downloaded all of them and stuck to that.
So the eIMM 5669 Schedule A including validation...

The e in front of the form number is there to indicate it is the English version of the form. If you download the French ones, you get an f.

Thanks, I do indeed have a COPR, but I've read (here on forum or wiki) that some airlines don't know what that means and won't let you board without an ETA if you're not a canadian PR or citizen....

In our application we included letters from family and friends. It's good to have several different kinds: family, your best friend, your partner's friend, a work colleague etc...
