Hello all, I'm trying to fill out the forms on the Arrivecan app and I was wondering what I should indicate for reason of travel?
I'm landing to activate my PR and get my COPR stamped. Do I just check "optional or discretionary travel'? Or would that be a misrepresentation?

I did exactly this last week and picked optional travel. Nobody checked anything beyond the barcode. When you arrive there's another form to fill out and you can choose "immigrate".

Thanks for the advice. I just wanted to follow up on this answer and confirm that it is indeed correct. I did just as you described. For my ArriveCan I selected optional or discretionary travel. After landing, the kiosks at YYZ give you an Other - Immigration option which will then lead you to the immigration desk.
