Looks like the Melbourne registration is all pretty straight forward. We'll be applying for citizenship next year and will apply for her Aus passport when we apply for ours.

What happens when PR visa expires?

Our PR visas expire soon, we are in Australia and can/will apply for citizenship in Sept 2012.

Does anyone know if I need to extend my PR visa or if I can just wait for my citizenship application?...

Only reason I was thinking is you could use UK one to get through immigration quicker on trips back!
