Have you checked the vfs website? What does it say? Every step is clearly updated on the vfs website. Just check it. Follow-up. You can email as well. They are very prompt

If you are a resident of Spain, you are liable to pay taxes to Spain. Spain will tax your worldwide income regardless of where it is emerging. Simple.
