Post Chances of a Tourist Visa after 2 Business Visa Refusals?

UK Citizen looking to go to America next year

Hi there, what are the chances of me being accepted a B2 Tourist Visa if I have been previously denied a Business Visa? If so, how long would you leave it before applying and what are the chances of this being accepted?

Denials:
E2 - November 2017 - (section 214b) Not being specialist enough in my field
B1 - February 2018 - (section 214b) Not being able to prove home ties

I understand the immigration process however I'm a 23 year old male looking to go on holiday with my parents, just like I would on my ESTA but unfortunately my Visa attempts have resulted in my ESTA being taken away. I have a job in the UK and I will 1000000% be returning after my holiday in the U.S, I have no plans AT ALLto stay in America.

I can't believe a work Visa attempt has left me in this much of a mess to get a tourist Visa! It is a horrible feeling not being able to currently enter a country! Especially when being an honest young individual trying to endeavour his career!

Thank you for your time.

Might be worth having another read of your previous threads - I think the advice was to wait until next year before trying ESTA again.

Your ability to have an approved ESTA probably hasn't been taken away permanently. I think you're being a tad overdramatic. Let your parents have this vacation.

I would not bother with a B until your circumstances have significantly changed, up to you.

Hello,
In my opinion, each visa is treated as an independent case. If you have fulfilled all the necessary formalities, and have 1. enough bank balance in your account 2. prove beyond all reasonable doubt that you have no intention to stay in the US your tourist visa should come through. To top it it is already 6 months past your refusal. Business and tourist visa are treated differently.

No, past history is extremely relevant -- especially when it is recent past history.

It isn't, and I disagree. 3 applications in a year look desperate to get to the US and he will appear to be high risk for working illegally and/or an overstay.

Would you try the ESTA next year before attempting a B2 Visa? Or will an ESTA decline jeopardise a B2 shortly after?

Why are you even thinking about a B2? At your age and with your background, you are unlikely to get one at any time.

Forget about the USA for now. Try another ESTA application in another 12 months or so. If that gets denied, wait another 18-24 months then try ESTA again.

I thought the only way I can get to the US next May will be via a B2 Visa, however it looks like I should hold it out and try for an ESTA after 12 months. It's very frustrating and I wish the Attorney advised me that I would be in this much of a mess and delay to visit the states with the knock on effect from my Business Visa applications...

The only way to overcome visa or ESTA denials is to wait and then try again. Having multiple refusals, especially in a short space of time, is likely to extend that waiting period even further.

Yes it's frustrating, but the fact is that as a foreigner you need permission from the US to be able to visit and trying too hard, too soon is not going to help you.

It's also worth mentioning that a large part of the world is also just like this, in that they require visas or some other kind of immigration controls on foreign visitors. The kind of free and unhindered movement you enjoy across Europe is more the exception rather than the rule.
