Thought I follow up on this incase anyone ever has a similar niche question. Just arrived in the US and this was my experience on updating GE with after a new visa...

Thanks! :) I've tried but the visa part is "locked" for editing. Guess I'll have to try my luck at the airport and see if it can be done on arrival.

Ahhh - I have arrived in the US on an L1 visa.

Doing a bit of chopping and changing in the building i'm in too over the next few days (switching apartments due to logistics)
