No problems Led, I would add an extra month on your estimation and say 3.5 months from I-130 approval to interview and then allow an extra week or so to get your passport back.

I had my IR1 interview in London last week and they only wanted to see my (the beneficiary) original civil documents, as London is now pivot and all documents are submitted electronically you only...

If when you enter the US for the first time with your spousal visa, and it's after your 2nd year wedding anniversary then you will get an IR1 Visa that lasts 10 years.

If you POE with a IR1-CR1 spousal visa before your 2nd year wedding anniversary then it's a CR1 (conditional GC) anything after would be IR1 and a 10 year GC would be issued.

Thanks Lizzy :lol: I have already booked it, from others that I have spoken to have told me they got there passports back in 2-3 days.... My missus will be so happy when she wakes up!

It will be an IR1 visa as you have been married more than two years.

Your quickest option is DCF (direct consular filing) and is roughly 6 months but if she goes back to the States and you file...

So after nearly two years of waiting I finally booked my interview this morning with the London Embassy for 11th October. :eek:

I know people say not to book a flight until you have the passport...

Yes the medical is booked for this Tuesday and all documents are ready to go... Just a few things to sort out and to get rid of the majority of my winter clothes, what doesn't fit in two suitcases is...

Thanks Lizzy, I saw on another forum that a K1 just got a date of Oct 24th so I don't know if they lump all the K1's in with the IR1's or keep everything separate?

London changed to PIVOT roughly 2 months ago.

CEAC was updated a few weeks back for maintenance after that a load more countries became PIVOT. Eventually all countries will be PIVOT.

8 weeks is for NON-PIVOT countries UK is PIVOT... Your time frame will be 3-5 weeks.

As I said before start calling the NVC from this Friday to get your case number, unless your not bothered about...
