We have received Portuguese checks in the past and it is certainly longer than eight days. It was months. Check with Bank.

Does anyone know the Portuguese name for the shrub that has lemon-scented leaves used to make tea? I had one many years ago but cannot remember the name.

We are Pensioners and have been living here since 2001 ... and this heat keeps me indoors with the a/c most of the day. We avoid tourists when possible,

We bought our pre-1951 house in 1997 which needed renovation (bathroom/kitchen/roof) and had to have a Habitation License which our Estate Agent (who is also a lawyer) got for us.
