Whenever I have travelled in or out of Europe, and I have done so extensively, the Non-EU passport control has had much much smaller...

I voted Brexit and I am in the process of buying a house in Spain.

I don't hate Europe, Europeans or any part of Europe. I just didn't want the UK to be governed by the EU.

My initial post referred only to obtaining better quality used furniture in the UK, for example I can source a contemporary used solid oak extending dining table with six matching chairs...

I was led to believe....on this forum and elsewhere....that good quality new or second hand furniture in Spain is relatively expensive.

I'm pretty sure I could, membership of the EU is not a requirement of applying to go and live or work in another country.

It may make it easier especially if you are unskilled.....

you can renew your mot a calendar month before it expires, you don't have to wait for expiry. You do not lose your expiry so effectively you get 13 months MOT.
